Hébergements dans Mora
Built in 1961, the house still has some original features that may give you a nostalgic feeling; wood paneling, brick wall fireplace, faux beams and acoustic (popcorn) ceilings. Mixed with vintage and retro furnishings and decor, you might experience childhood memories of growing up in the 60s or 70s. There is a game closet full of games, a piano, two large T.V.s, WiFi, blue-ray players and a gas fireplace to help create a relaxing, comfortable stay.
Step back in the past and make yourself comfortable in our retro inspired home. For those that lived through the 60s & 70s, the fun and quirky decor may trigger memories of childhood and simpler time.
A quiet neighborhood on the edge of town. The property is just of Highway 23.

Lindisfarne is located 75 miles north of the Twin Cities in East Central Minnesota on 80 acres. The Tower is just one of 3 Cabins we have here on the grounds. Enjoy a walk through the woods on one of our trails, relax in the Chapel or enjoying a fire in our fire ring. Lindisfarne is an ideal location to just get out of town for a couple days.
While staying in the Tower which is named for the corner tower overlooking ur fields. The open spaces are yours to enjoy as you walk amongst our 100 year old White Pines.
We are surrounded by lakes and rivers, the Grand Casino in Hinckley and some historical places in the area. Here are many golf courses and excellent fishing. Excellent restaurants if you love to go out to eat.
On reviendra certainement!

Recommande fortement. :)

Come experience homesteading. Milk a goat, make some cheese, gather eggs, string fence, cut firewood, sit by the stream. Help us convert a grain bin into a home, build a summer kitchen, design a rainwater catchment system, engineer a garden shower house, plant a garden, and landscape the yard. Learn about alternative energy, mycoremediation, composting and much more. This will be a working vacation, no pampered retreat. Bring work clothes, boots, utility gloves and sun hats. All meals provided.
You will stay in the 1984 Mallard Motorhome on an off grid farm. The space is completely yours. There is one built in bed that is classified as a twin and a half, however because it is built in, it sleeps like a queen since you cannot roll off the sides. The dinette table can be converted into a second twin bed. The unit has limited running water in both the kitchen and the lav sink and a composting toilet. Kitchen has limited dishes and a propane stove. There is NO electricity...NO refrigerator...NO fans...NO air conditioning...NO heat! Lights are solar powered LEDS. There is a cell phone charging station in the main house. There are no modern laundry facilities, but you are welcome to use the washtub and plunge washer wand, or there is a laundromat in town. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING AND TOWELS! Nightly price covers the cost of meals. You will be expected to pitch in, if you want a rustic camping trip with no work expected, please state so, because the price will change. Our family is a Judeo Christian family and we have many Amish neighbors. Please bring appropriate MODEST clothing appropriate for the weather, work shoes or boots, swim shoes, full coverage swimsuit, sun hat and any bug spray or sunscreen you desire to use. We ask that you do not bring strong colognes or perfumes or any strong chemicals. All soaps, etc must be Earth friendly and biodegradable.
The homestead is 4.4 acres on a beautifully wooded creek. There are no “backyard" neighbors, but coffee is always on so we do get visitors. We also enjoy our Amish community that lives amongst us.

It's generally quiet here however, being mainly a second home area, summers and weekends tend to be busier with activity. Neighbors are located to the North and somewhat further away to the South through brush and trees. Also there are homes dotted along directly across the river. All are less visible when the leaves are on the trees. There maybe occasional additional noise when four wheelers go by, or during hunting season. This is most apparent on weekends.

    Stephanie2018-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Notre séjour était absolument incroyable. Hello! Thanks for taking a peek into the beauty of Dad's Lake House. He owns it; I rent it out. :) The yard is very very private and HUGE- photos don't do it justice. The house is very spacious, well stocked with things you might need and has comfortable beds! The kitchen is fully stocked; washer and dryer on site. Beautiful Master Bed and Bathroom with a huge tub- there's a small room off of the Master Bedroom which holds a twin bed. I want to be a great host; let me know what you need!
The lake is great for fishing, boating or (my personal fave) floating at the end of the dock. It's got a nice sandy bottom and is about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock. We've got some floaties and pool toys available! The deck overlooking the lake is a favorite spot for many of our guests (and my dad. :) The house is very large as is the yard! There are 2 firepits; one in the yard and one down by the lake. There are 2 grills available for use as well- one gas and one charcoal. The attached 3 car garage is also available for guest use.
The town of Mora is a small MN town. We've got a water park, a really cool old-timey one screen movie theater that also does music shows occasionally, a bunch of restaurants and a great main street with shops, etc. The house is a couple of miles out of town- it's very private. Dad loves to tell people that you can pee in the yard anywhere- that's a real selling point for him. :)
  • Super endroit pour rester!

  • Endroit magnifique. Super pêche!

    Mary2019-06-14T00:00:00Z

Cozy 1400 sqft lake house only 70 miles from the Twin Cities. 10 minutes east of I-35. Perfect for quick getaways, for couples, families or solo travelers who like privacy and a fantastic view. Recently remodeled, with all amenities and high end finishes. Great for all seasons! Bring your boat or jet skis and take advantage of the 1000-acre Cross Lake. PLEASE NOTE: MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS IS 5 Good for winter activities, too. Skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc.
Great lake views from both levels. One bedroom and one full bath on each floor. Big deck for hanging out and eating meals. The house looks west with great views and lots of light. Lower floor stays quite a bit cooler in the summer, but thanks to radiant heating system, is nice an warm in the winter. Upstairs fireplace sets a perfect mood for sipping tea or wine at the bar corner. Since we want to feel secluded and enjoy the lake and the nature, we haven't installed any TV's or sounds systems in the house. Internet is just fast enough to stream a few videos, but may not be able to handle HD picture quality. We have a wireless speaker that can be used for listening to music.
Some of our neighbors are there full time, some are there seasonally or on the weekends. They are all very friendly people and like to interact.

Cabin is located at the end of a short street on a dead end road. Very quiet and peaceful. I do have older retired neighbors who have complained in the past about guests being loud, drunk or profanity language being spoken. All I ask is to be aware and respectful of noise levels and language just to keep the peace with the neighbors. :)

Basic supplies/bait can be gotten at a general store about 5 minutes away, closest town with full grocery store, Wal Mart etc is about 20 minutes away.
