Farmers Market
“A good variety of vendors in a funky neighborhood. Venture around a few blocks, other shops and good places to eat. Take a minute and walk along the canal.”

Outdoor Sculpture
“I don't know who put the pic of the Ballard Locks here. Old Vladimir is much more impressive. You can meet up with him just a few blocks west of the Fremont Troll.”

Lieu de musique

“The best music acts around, in a comfortable venue - I like the upstairs seating! ”

Pub
$$
“Lower Fremont: 21+ Hip pub that feels like you are entering an exclusive, dark, "members-only" club. They offer Belgian-style grub, hundreds of beers & over 50 scotches. Open 11am- late. Their Belgian-inspired cuisine includes versions of Belgian classics such as pommes frites (true Belgian fried potatoes), stoofvlees (a thick Belgian stew served on Frites), and the Belgian staple of moules-frites. They also serve a variety of sandwiches, such as our very popular lamb burger, which is ground in house. They also have a selection of salads, desserts, and a rotating specials menu. A great place to catch up with friends!”

Arcade
$
“A 21+ arcade with two floors of vintage games and one modern 8 person game that is worthy of just observing. The space is tight and makes for a unique arcade experience over a beverage. ”

“In “fancy pants food scene” Seattle...this is real food by real people. Great tacos, burritos come out of this hole in the wall joint 4 blocks from us. NOT on Queen Anne Avenue...meander West.”

Diner
$
“Roxy's is "East Coast on the West Coast". It's meant to mimic a New York Diner (the owner is a long-time New Yorker). They serve traditional breakfast items (Try their E.O.B...Egg On a Bagel!) as well as other less traditional items like corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Prices are not too bad either. Definitely stop here if you want some good traditional breakfast.”

“Delicious authentic mexican and oaxacan cuisine. Full bar but I recommend sticking with their "scratch margarita", which is a margarita made from scratch instead of a mix.”

Pizzeria
$$
“The "Frelard" area is just down the hill to the West on the Fremont/Ballard boarder: 15 min walk. Industrial-chic pizzeria from famous chef, Ethan Stowell, serves up handmade pies, whole or by the slice for a quick snack! Big, sports-bar, family-friendly environment with wonderful outdoor space to enjoy in the summer.”
