Airport Terminal
“Station Code: SBK16 Pasar Seni (8 stops from MRT Taman Mutiara Barat) Pasar Seni (Central Market) is located at Jalan Hang Kasturi, a few minutes away from Petaling Street (Chinatown). It was founded in 1888 and originally used as a wet market, while the current building was completed in 1937. It has since been classified as a Heritage Site by the Malaysian Heritage Society and it is now a landmark for Malaysian culture and heritage. It is also strategically located within public transport facilities such as RapidKL LRT and bus services. Central Market has created a corner to display multi-ethnicity and the stalls are zoned based on the features of each race. The new zone therefore would consist of 3 lanes namely the Lorong Melayu, Straits Chinese and Lorong India. The purpose of this new zone is to let the visitors have an insight of the cultural difference of the various races in Malaysia. Attractions Around Kota Raya Shopping Complex is the biggest commercial centre closest. The Pasar Seni MRT Station is a mere a 10 minutes walk from the complex. Its surrounding area has the highest concentration of financial institutions and leading hotels. Several schools and learning institutions also surround the station. The KA02 Kuala Lumpur station which the KTM Komuter serves, is a 400 m walk away, connected by a pedestrian bridge crossing the Klang River. There are also bus hubs above this station that connects buses from Kuala Lumpur to Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya. The roads and areas surrounding this MRT station serve as important bus terminals. A mere 500 m away is Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown which is a haven for bargain hunters looking for clothes, bags souvenirs and much more. Food lovers will also be spoilt for choice with the various tasty dishes on offer. ”

“The Curve Mall Kuala Lumpur is a gleaming shopping centre in Petaling Jaya that stands out from the rest of the competition thanks to its quaint weekly flea market and range of non-retail activities. With a combination of outdoor dining spaces and more than 250 stores under its roof, it attracts a fair number of shoppers every day, particularly during the weekend. Metrojaya serves as its two-storey anchor tenant, and shoppers will find a range of mid-level international labels such as British retailers Debenhams, British India and Dorothy Perkins. What’s more, local labels Marry Merry, Diva, Blossom Box Store and textile store Binwani’s are just a few of the stores you can visit for a look at the city’s local fashion scene. When it comes to food, the outdoor walkway (The Street) is a great place for grabbing a bite to eat as you can find popular restaurants such as Johnny Rockets, Malone’s, Italiannies, Kenny Roger’s Roaster, T.G.I.
