“Julian's is a delicious staple of Providence and is known for their Sunday Funday brunches, great food/drinks, and an overall chill atmosphere. Julian's is also a great place to meet locals. The food is super yummy, but waiting to be seated on Sundays can be a while, so a drink or two might be in order in the meantime. ;)”

“I've lived in New Orleans, and the mushroom po-boy here is the best one that I and my meat-loving husband have ever had. Seriously! In addition to dinner, they also have an excellent brunch. This is the same group that operates the delicious veg spots Garden Grille and Wildflour Vegan bakery. ”

“My husband is a carnivore from Texas, and he loves this vegetarian place. There are no misses here, but the butternut squash quesadilla is excellent-- something you can eat a few times a week. The cocktails are phenomenal too! This group also operates the fantastic Grange and Wildflour vegan bakery (which is right next to Garden Grille); don't miss either!”

“If you want to celebrate, you cannot go wrong at Los Andes! This is the best restaurant in RI, and everybody knows it--so you should call for a reservation. Indoor and outdoor seating, fresh and innovative contemporary Peruvian/Bolivian inspired cuisine, excellent wine list, and live music sometimes too. You can also grab a seat at the bar to eat. ”

“Go for the cupcakes, stay for the atmosphere. We recommend the Monte Cristo - a turkey, ham and swiss cheese sandwich on Portuguese sweet bread french toast. They are known for their brunch and afternoon tea, but we enjoy dinner there as well. Opens at 10am, but expect a line at the door in the mornings. Open late except Thursdays and closed on Mondays.”
