“C'est un très grand parc avec rivière. J’adore mème si il est encore en mauvais état (mais c'est en projet de rénovation). Vous y verrez des tortues des poissons, des paons... C'est une balade très rafraichissante et un endroit idéal pour faire un footing même en aout. ”

“Mt. Filerimos, just outside the capital Rhodes (8km), is a hill 267m. high, overlooking the small town of Ialysos and the bay of Ixia and Trianda. From its top you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Aegean with turquoise waters near the shore and deep blue as it stretches toward coast of the Asia Minor. Thickly planned with cypresses, pines and other trees, it is an ideal location for a long walk into the Rhodian nature. A winding road leads to the top of the hill where, in relatively wide plateau, the Monastery of Filerimos is located. This place is also an important archeological site; here once stood the Acropolis of the ancient town of Ialysos with an important temple dedicated to Athena”

It consists of the old and the new single, called by locals the "High" and "low", respectively. The old monastery located on top of a hill, above the beautiful beach, while the new is lower near the highway that connects the Archangel in the city of Rhodes. The monastery celebrates on 8 September every year, the Nativity of Mary, while crowd celebrated believers flocking from all sides of the island. ”

“This is such a great place to sit and relax, just a 5-minute stroll from the flat. There is a large coffee bar/ restaurant ("Therme") with sitting area under the huge trees, offering a cool, shady place in the hot summer days. Recommended for coffee and simple dishes, although I've also enjoyed here some great, huge, juicy steaks with friends (and not just once!).”
