“This is a beautiful place for a short walk by the water, a picnic area or to sit and wait for the whales. Bring a guitar, a game or just a friend and enjoy the view from tables or just sit on the rocks. Bring an extra blanket just Incase it’s windy and it’s a beautiful place to watch the sun set too.”

“Once you've visited the American Camp drive to the other side of the island and get the other part of the story. This is a great place to do some light hiking and learn some of the islands history.”

“Lakedale offers day passes to those not staying at their facility. They have boats and fishing tackle to rent. Nice place to swim on a hot day. Just stop at the their small store to pick up pass. ”
