“This small and intimate women's-only spa is the perfect antidote to the Seattle rain and is surprisingly affordable. It has a hot tub, sauna, and steam room and an on-site massage therapist if you want a massage.”

Salon de manucure
“Wonderful restaurants include Walrus and the Carpenter and Staple and Fancy. Cozy coffee and tea shops such as Miro Tea with a dizzying assortment of teas. And incredible vintage shops all housed in historic buildings. Oh, and don't forget to have an ice cream at famed Salt and Straw—they have vegan flavors too! It's a wonderful neighborhood to wander. Great to tie this in with a visit to the Nordic Museum and/or the Ballard Locks and/or Golden Gardens Park—see those entries. And if you like farmer's markets, Ballard has the largest in Seattle every Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Old Ballard is a 20-minute drive from the Woodside Suite. ”
