Suwannee River : les meilleurs parcs

Parc
“Ah, the Itch! Absolutely wonderful state park that all ages enjoy. Ok, so the water is cold. "It feels great after you've been in a minute." You'll hear that a lot. And it really does. When we lived in Alachua, it was a tradition on Friday afternoon to go to the springs, get cold clear down to our bones and then jump in the car and eschew the AC all the way home. There are bathroom and cooking facilities there. Some people tube down the Ichnetucknee. It's a lot of fun, too.”

“Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this park demonstrates the evolution of Florida farming from the 1850s to the mid-1940s-through three generations of the Dudley family. An authentic working farm, the homestead consists of 18 buildings, including the family farmhouse with original furnishings, an 1880s kitchen outbuilding, a general store and post office, and a functional cane syrup complex. Park staff in period clothing perform daily chores, raise crops and tend to livestock. The farm features seasonal cane grindings, corn shuckings and heritage varieties of livestock and plants. Deer, wild turkeys, gopher tortoises and bluebirds are still seen in the fields.”

“Most beautiful serene private park...see pics and my review on Google. Very zen and relaxing and created with love and care by owners and many volunteers, well worth the $12 admission 19 miles away, but easy enjoyable country drive with only one traffic light the entire drive. Right next door to Devil's Den. ”
