We are Liberty Hill Farm, in Rochester, Vermont! Tours run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9 am. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests the opportunity to experience daily farm life. Guests will be able to watch the cow milking process and even try their hand at milking! From there, we will explain the journey from cow to milk jug. Guests will learn about the different ages and stages of the dairy cow, from birth through adulthood. We will meet, pet, and even feed baby calves, explore the barns, and meet kitties. Guests will be transported from a centrally-located site in San Diego county to the international border in San Ysidro. With a Permit application already completed by host from information provided by guests, crossing the border will be cut from a potential 1 hour to about 10 minutes. Along with a brief historical account and cultural explanation, the experience will include a visit to the Friendship Park, a stroll through historic Revolucion street, as well as a the visit to several iconic areas of the city which will lead to a better understanding of its development. Visitors will also explore a colorful local market, where they will interact with local vendors, learn about, and have the opportunity to sample indigenous foods. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local food court where guests will have the opportunity to savor Tijuana's fusion cuisine, also known as Baja-Med. Finally, they will be driven to the international border, picked up and taken back to the original meeting location in San Diego. The host will escort guests the entire time. Paint/ Photoshoot;an introduction to the Artist, a brief history of murals, importance of public art, examples of works in Miami. (No Artistic talent is necessary.) -Introduction to materials, brushes, spray paint, rollers, drop cloths, latex paint, tape and palettes. -Then an explanation of the process and meaning of 'underpainting" as the first step of creating a community mural. A community mural involves groups of people creating together, I will show you the tasks and different sections of the mural. Each participant will be encouraged and given instruction on all facets of the mural. A group photo and progress shots will be taken during the mural process. -How to create a wash, painting with water to make the next stage after underpainting possible is my signature style. -Using different brushes to make different lines as well as the "dry brush" technique for shading on some realistic images will be explored by all in attendance. Then the best way for everyone to enjoy their time is to learn by doing! Set up and introduction is 15 minutes, The actual painting is one hour and the post/photoshoot is 15 minutes. The Final stage of details and photoshoot with your work to always remember the experience. Creating a permanent mural in the mural capital of the world "Wynwood" on a highly visible intersection will culminate in a group unveiling as we say "Artworld!!!! We will reach you difference between Hawaiian Food and Hawaiian Style foods. This private & personal tour ( no more than 4 people) will begin at a local grocery store to sample some of the best poke and spam Musubi in the world. Whenever we travel we always look for the local grocery stores because that's where you will find the best foods and the locals. Then we head to Kalihi for a Manapua tasting and taro chip factory. We then sit for a authentic Hawaiian food lunch and learn the history and how it's made. A fly rod is built in the same way that bamboo grows. From the bottom, or butt, to the tip. You will remove a node from a 12' culm of Tonkin bamboo, using a small hack saw, as the first step in seeing how a custom 8' node-less fly rod is made. Then you will split one of 72 splints needed to form the tip or butt of the rod with a hammer and knife. You will scarf one splint to shape it for gluing. Fancy planing, shaping the cork handle, and silk wrapping will be demonstrated along with the final varnish dip. At the end of the class you are invited to cast a variety of rods that I have made with a casting lesson on the "green river" of my lawn. In 2 hours you will see how the rod is made but you will not build a completed rod -- my first rod took me 100 hours. Other things to note Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. If you have a favorite fly reel that you want to try on a finished rod bring it along.

Take a rest from the stress of the modern world and get ready to fall in love with group of energetic fun seeking Corgis as they take you on a unique journey to a special place where you find hidden dwellings and discover the secret treasure chests. BlissWood Forest is located in Coastal Maine one hour south of Acadia National Park. You will arrive at Corgi Bliss, in the town of Penobscot, on the edge of the forest. There you will meet your hosts, the Corgis along with Jennifer or Katie. Drinks will be offered, as well as a discussion about safety while walking with the corgis . We will set off on our journey through the fields, and into BlissWood Forest. The easy half-mile hike is well maintained and goes at a leisurely pace. The loose Corgis will be scurrying about ahead as they sniff the ground and try to pick up the scent of pixie dust. Help the Corgis find the hidden treasure chests and secret swellings along the path. We pause a lot for selfies, kisses and cuddles from the animals. Then we loop down the trail and return to Corgi Bliss, where drinks and snacks are to be had before saying our goodbyes. We will be outdoors in the fresh air and forest, wear layered clothing and shoes that protect your feet from the elements. Enjoy the earthy smells and forest sounds, and the corgis. OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. For animal lovers visiting the Hudson valley, Wayward Ranch is a must see on your list of places to explore! We are a nonprofit animal sanctuary and rescue located on a beautiful and serene 60 acre horse farm in Kerhonkson. On the tour you get the opportunity to meet our horses, pigs, goats, and maybe even a dog or a cat, along the way learning each of their individual stories. We provide hands-on interaction with all the animals, giving you an up close and personal introduction to the world of animal welfare and rescue. Other things to note Whenever you are interacting with animals, it is important to keep in mind that animals can be unpredictable. They may accidentally scratch you or even grab a finger when they mean to grab a treat from your hand. The animals you will meet are not aggressive generally, but it is always best to be cautious around all animals! It's also important that you do not bring along your own pet to this experience because they will NOT be allowed on the experience and cannot be left alone in a car!
