“Wonderful sandy beaches and warm, clear ocean waters. The iconic Whales Tail is a must visit during low tide. Check the tides chart so you leave enough time to explore at your leisure. Sunrise or sunsets are stunning from the beach. As a general rule of thumb, the beaches are not crowded and provide a wonderful place to rest an relax.”

City
“The closest beach to the whale tail. Whale watching tours take off from this beach. Walking to the end of the Whale Tail can be done at low tide (bring hat, sunscreen, snacks, and water!). Snorkeling is also possible around the Whale Tail reef at low tide. The nearby mangrove is good for easy kayaking or paddle boarding. You can rent kayaks, paddle/surf boards or do a tour from Uvita 360 before the park. ”

“Bahía Aventuras is bar none the best tour operator in the region. Try a combo boat tour to spy whales, dolphins, and sea turtles and to swim in the open ocean. Visit Las Ventanas caves, Caño Island, Corcovado National Park and many more locations. Bahía Aventuras tour guides are knowledgeable about the varied ocean species and the area. This will be a highlight of your trip.”
