“Kits beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver especially in the warm summer months. Located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, the beach faces out on to English Bay. The beach is home to the longest swimming pool in Canada, the salt-water outdoor Kitsilano Pool. Open annually from May to September. Toward the northern edge of the beach is a playground and a number of beach volleyball court.”

Boasting beautiful views of the North Shore mountains (if the forest fire smoke holds off!), this is truly a must-see. If you catch low-tide, you can walk out on the sand for a kilometer! ”

“An amazing running path to Southlands will take you through a hidden area of Vancouver. Stables and nurseries can be found throughout. Don't be surprised to see folks riding their horses through the streets. It's a sight to see. Be sure to make it as far as the end of Deering Island. At the end is an amazing and tranquil water view. ”
