Restaurant
“This restaurant is located in a beautiful courtyard that makes you feel like you've been transported to Spain. They have some wonderful tapas. I recommend the red sangria, olives, garlic shrimp and the lobster caesar salad to start. For the meat lovers I hear the charuso is good. You will not regret stopping here. Ask for Maynard ( the owner) and tell him Dina sent you.”

“Right on the water in Frenchtown, this really fine restaurant was fashioned out of a 1920's Russian consulate that still feels straight out of an old Graham Greene thriller. ”

“As good (or bad) as the other guys. If you want better experience look into Amalie or Pdise Inc. Just know I think a Jeep is overkill. ”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Right down the street from the Fruitbowl in town. It is a lower quality grocery store, but it has more variety than Fruitbowl and it has cheaper packaged goods. It also has a large selection of wine and liquor. If you don’t feel like venturing east, you can find everything you need at Fruitbowl and Pueblo. There is also a small Kmart between the two for other essentials.”

“This is the 4th virgin island, right off the coast of St. Thomas. The beach on the island is known as Honeymoon beach, and is a local favorite. Hope on a ferry and enjoy the calm waters, live music and great food/drinks. Hopping on a local carter boat? Definitely one of their preferred spots. You can also rent a golf cart and take a tour of the island!”

Bar
“A St.Thomas institution...located in nearby Frenchtown, this tiny, dimly-lit bistro/wine bar has great service and always an interesting modern menu. Sometimes the owner or the chef will parade a giant mahi-mahi or a wahoo through the restaurant just purchased from the fish house right next door. Be patient, have another glass of wine and wait for the chef to tell your waiter how he's preparing it! ”
