This is our local cafe. Wonderful place to have brunch. They do great eggs. Much better than the expensive cafes around Mends Street.

A bit of a trek, but if you're nervous about sharks this protected lagoon could be a good option. The calm waters are also great for little kids to swim in.

Everyone loves Rottnest. You can catch the ferry from South Perth to the quay and Barrack St Jetty where the Rottnest Express departs from. Hire a bike and cycle around the island taking selfies with smiling quokkas. If you can, stay over night at the island, the quokkas come out in the evening.
