Welcoming cafe with lovely homemade cakes and pastries, as well as nice coffee and sandwiches. My favourite cake her is the cinnamon bun with cream cheese... wow!

Very funky neon lights art gallery, shop and cafe. Personally I don't think the food and drink is great (it's OK!) but it's an amazing experience to see all the neon, and kids love it too.

Amazing dim sum (some say the best in East London!), only open from 5pm or Fridays, Sat and Sunday all day. Quite a basic place but delicious cheap food and the owner Fiona will look after you!

Fabulous seasonal food, amazing vegetarian selection and all close to home. don't expect the same dishes to be on the menu every time you visit as the menu constantly changes - try everything while you can! Warm, friendly service, now a firm favourite of mine. Thanks Marmelo!

Nice local pub, for "real locals" not pretentious! Often shows sports on screens. They specialise in Thai food and Muga pizzas. Thai food here is really recommended but they only serve it weekends.

Great local friendly pub, opens from the morning and serves food all day including brunch and breakfast. Their Sunday roasts are lovely. Cosy sofas and nice outdoor area too.
