Hip place to get excellent fried chicken and cocktails. Try the Hot Chicken if you've got it in you, and the Negroni Slushy for a fun drink. Lots of outdoor seating and ping pong, too. Gets busy but has 2 bars to wait at.

You can walk to the north part of the beach from my apartment in 15-20 minutes, or take a quick cab or bus to the more active southern strip. Beautiful setting to enjoy the lake and sun while getting a great view of the city.
