As far as Zoos go, Seattle's is quite picturesque and diverse in species! Lots of walking and running around for kids to get energy out. Also great outdoor concerts in summer.

Like to climb but don't want to wear a harness? The Bouldering Center has enormous soft mats for landing while you climb on their many different walls and surfaces. Very fun for energetic kids.
