Cornwall Park is nice if you feel like some fresh air. You can walk or drive to the top of One Tree Hill. There are lambs there in the spring time, as well as cows. Also a the new cafe there is worth a visit.

It's the closest supermarket to us and just a couple of minutes away. It's walking distance if you don't have a car.

The train station is walking distance or you can park your car there. It's only two stops into Britomart which has lots of great restaurants and shops.

The Auckland Museum is worth a visit if you're interested in learning about New Zealand culture. While you're there also visit the Winter Gardens.

This is a great relaxed restaurant. Al Brown the chef is well known in New Zealand. It's very relaxed and you can't book but I think it's worth the wait.

Britomart has loads of great bars and restaurants to choose from. You really can't go wrong if you head to this area. Amano, Cafe Hanoi, Milse, Ortolana, Ostro are all really good.

If you're a bit older and feel like going out for a drink, Pineapple on Parnell is great fun. They have someone playing the piano most nights they are open. It's probably more fun for the older generation though.
