Bring a bike and check out our trails. Trails 1-6 can be ridden from the Southern Trailhead. Track 1, 4 & 5 are the easiest. 6 can be quite hard with sharp pinches but can also get very wet and slippery. Track 2 climbs up to Lake Elizabeth and then you can ride the wonderful Red Carpet Track 3 back down.

Great food, and if you love beer - even better! This place is still busy for dinner even in winter, in summer you will need to book a table. Do a beer tasting paddle or purchase some take aways.

Beautiful walk and a gorgeous lake. You can go on a platypus kayak tour with Otway Eco Tours to see these shy Australian creatures.

On a sunny afternoon, the sunlight slanting through these giants is magical.
Gorgeous set of falls which can be viewed from the top but the best view is at the bottom. You do have to walk down and back approximately 200 steps though so a good level of fitness is required.

Rain or shine, visiting Stevenson's Falls is a great walk. In summer, enjoy the cool of the shade as you walk and watch a smaller flow over the falls. Take off your shoes and dip your feet in the river to cool off. In the cooler months, take a raincoat and witness the mighty falls run at full capacity. This set of falls is worth revisiting again and again throughout the seasons.

Petrol and Groceries
Let’s start with what there isn’t.... firstly there’s no petrol station so you need to fill up on the way at Geelong, Colac or Winchelsea, or Apollo Bay if you’re coming up from the Great Ocean Road. There is also no large supermarket in town. There’s the general store for basic supplies like milk but you might want to stock up on meat, fruit and veg on the way if you’re planning on cooking meals. There’s also no ATM so if you need cash to pay for something, get some out on your way!
