Only 15 minutes away from the house. In the winter a great place to take the family to go skiing. Great for beginners especially. In the summer you should try the golf here. Pretty decent course.

Why not take advantage of Pennsylvania's favorable fireworks laws. Please take note that Arrowhead Lake community does not allow projectile fireworks, so anything else will work.

Walk through the shops of downtown Jim Thorpe is a great past time. It is especially nice to go during the Christmas season to take in all the decorations and shopping each of the local stores! A must do.
