Gorgeous little beachside town 20mins drive from Lorne towards Apollo Bay. Great local "General Store" that has good coffee and food & local pub has delicious meals and cold beer up on the hill looking over the whole beach. Must visit little place!

About an hours drive from Lorne Apollo Bay is a bustling fishing town with a beautiful marina. The fish and chip shop the best on the coast with great views!

Internet & Phones on busy periods of the year
During busy seasons of the year like school holiday sand public holidays the internet and phones in town do not work as well ass you might expect. The town goes from being a quiet beachside town to a bustling tourist spot so the towers do not cope well. Please be patient! The internet and wifi works best early morning or late evening.

Saint George's Beach!
Saint George beach is the safest & most family friendly beach in the area offering the river and ocean as swimming options. It is NOT patrolled by surf lifesavers so I would only recommend visiting if kids are supervised.
