Tradicional Brazilian steakhouse ("churrasco"). Some waiters speak basic English, so good for foreigners. You can choose the meats you'd like. The restaurant has a self-service table for salads, cheeses, sushi, sashimi, etc. They have a nice dessert table as well.

A lot of Carioca had been there once. His most famous way to serve the taste of a spicy barbecue and other steaks, filled with typical condiments of Outback's griffe. His special onion cooked, his beer mug and the soda refills were successful in Rio.

If you are looking for a place cool wich is visited by locals, thats the place. Close to Suggar Loaf, go grab a beer and seat on the famous "mureta" just opposite the bar to contemplate the stunning view.

Getting Around
The service of BRT is very useful because they are very fast, without traffic. You can go to Olympic Park but you need to stop at the next station ( Salvador Allende ) and get another bus (BRT TransOlímpica). Or you can walk to Salvador Allende Station (10 minutes walk).

It is one of the wonders in Rio. You can get to the top of Corcovado (the mountain where the statue lies) either by train, car or just hiking (it is a long way up....). If it were located somewhere else, the statue of Christ the Redeemer would be just.....a statue. But on top of Corcovado it is something you will never forget. But you should go there in a clear sunny day and you can have a panoramic view of Rio and Guanabara bay. You can get a PREMIUM BUS (a blue one) in front of Supermarket until Copacabana - Praça do Lido. Once there, you can get the OFFICIAL VAN to Corcovado. Make sure you getting the official one!

Parks & Nature
If you are looking for a spot in the beach that is quiet and amazing, this is your place ... not much parking space, so it is never crowded ... it does not feel you are in a beach in a big city ... and you will always find people selling drinks & food walking around, so do not need to worry about that. But bring your own chair if you want one, here you cannot find place to rent you one like other parts of Barra da Tijuca beach. The open sea can be a bit rough so watch the locals and don't swim too far from the shore as there are no lifeguards on this beach.

Outstanding views! Fantastic beach located very near from the apartment. Good for surfing or relaxing. Not as busy as Copacabana or Ipanema beach and a good place to slip away from the crowds. Go in the morning as the water is calmer. This is a perfect place to see the Sunset in Rio due the position of the seaside versus the sun. The beach is very safe too (don't even dare being careless in ipanema or copabacana). You will love it!! (there's no public transportation for getting there - you can go by car or Uber).

Grumari is one of the most beautiful beach to go in Rio. It is tiny, peaceful and very beautiful. Don't miss Grumari in Rio. It is a MUST!

You can see a lot of animals of Brazilian fauna: alligators, capybaras, turtles and marmosets. It is free, but closed on Mondays. The park is pretty and they have a small collection of alligators, capybaras, marmosets and turtles in cages a few 100 feet from the playground. The REAL attraction is the small trail - the smallest being 73 metres - here your trip will be "disturbed" by the lizard that roam freely in the park.

This trail is very interesting, and leads to breathtaking views. Many different paths lead to this spot, the easiest starts in Praia Grande in Guaratiba, a longer one starts near Grumari.
