Great little ice cream parlor! Fresh homemade ice cream and a great place to sit relax. It's right in the heart of the Village, so what's not to love?

If you brought a boat, this is a must stop for great local food and people. It is casual and rustic and fun- eat on the huge screened porch overlooking the marina. Even if you don't have a boat, drive over and enjoy the breeze and the Waterman's BLT! It is a full service marina but small and low maintenance, just how we like things up here!

They also own the mexican Rest in Kilmarnock, too. Locally owned and operated and they do provide take out as well.

What can I say? Locally owned by a great family who loves food! This is very casual for eat in or take out. Walk in, order at the counter and they will call out your number when it's ready. They also have tables outside and soft serve ice cream!

We are hooked on T & J's. Tom and Jill opened this a few years ago and stayed open year round for the first time this past winter. This quaint little museum is packed with information about the areas connection to Menhaden fishing. It is very informative and has a great video about the history and impact of Omega Protein (large fishery in Reedville). Well worth the trip and perfect for a rainy day. Make SURE to ask to see the model train in a separate building-it's unbelievable and kids will LOVE it! Also, tour the historic home while you're there.

Sightseeing
Don't come up here without driving a few miles up the road to see Fleeton Point. Make sure to drive slowly and read the sign as you enter the village; it's classic! Loop all the way around and experience the view over Ingram Bay. To your direct right, is the entrance to Cockrell Creek and where you'll see the Omega Protein ships docked, or coming and going. The large water feeding Ingram Bay is the Great Wicominco River, then to your left is the Chesapeake Bay. Bring your camera, but do remember all the property is privately owned- be very respectful.
