Worth a visit if you are into ships and boat building. The worlds largest all-wood sailing vessel was built at this site and there is a full scale sculpture that evokes that ship.

Walk along the sandy beach in the park or drive on down to Fort Popham and visit Spinneys waterfront restaurant. Parking is free at the fort , if you can find it during peak season.
