Food scene away from the condo
If you like tapas, this is a fun and cute little restaurant. The goat cheese bruschetta is a must! I also recommend the farmer's market salad and pizzas!

This isn't a typical Mexican restaurant. I would more call this Mexican fusion. I recommend the shrimp taquitos!

Amazing German food made from scratch! Highly recommend any of the schnitzels paired with spaetzle. The soft pretzels are great as well as an app.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley. *Disclaimer*: I grew up thinking Taco Bell was Mexican food so I think all Mexican restaurants are good.

This place has great Italian food. If you go DO NOT sit on the right side. The portions are huge and pricey. Sit on the left side in the bar area, eat a normal size portion of pasta so you don't feel gross, and have a reasonable bill.

A really beautiful local zoo. It's easy to get around, has great hiking trails attached, and has an amazing array of different animals with zookeeper chats and interactions! My parents and I go walk around almost every time they are here.

This is a great hike at the top of the cove! A quick drive up from the condo and you'll be hiking some beautiful trails with great mountain views. You can also access it via a paved path right by the condo.

This place is a local favorite and is always pretty busy! They have a great bar area / outdoor seating. The pizzas and salads are really great. I've heard they have other good food, but I sadly never make it past ordering a pizza. :) They also have takeout!

This place has a good variety on their menu. I love the cobb salad and the scallop carbonara.

This is a great little Italian restaurant close to the condo.
Short story: My husband's stepdad ordered garlic bread the last time we were there which I thought was ridiculous considering they gave us table bread. It was the best garlic bread I've ever had and came in a tower with different dipping sauces. Jokes on me for being judgmental over garlic bread because I couldn't stop dipping it in alfredo sauce.
You typically have to have a reservation for this spot.
