Go by bike with the ferry in Svendborg and go to Ærø (Island) one hour from Funen. You arrive in Ærøskøbing. It's just a beautiful, cozy old city. You can walk around for the whole day, or you can cycle about 8-10 km to Marstall, a very nice cycling route along the coast.

Go by bike with the ferry in Svendborg and go to Ærø (Island) one hour from Funen. You arrive in Ærøskøbing. It's just a beautiful, cozy old city. You can walk around for the whole day, or you can cycle about 8-10 km to Marstall, a very nice cycling route along the coast.

The nearest forest and beach: Just across Rantzausmindevej through the forest 200 m. A nice walk along the coast with fine old trees. The beach is somewhat rocky, but a little way out it is ok, and with bathing shoes you can get a quick dip.
