Food Scene

Fabulous food prepared fresh and mostly from their own estate and farm shop in the village. A great pub too, friendly and inviting with a good range of real ales and tasty bar snacks.

Parks & Nature

A mile up the road is Hawarden Park and Castle, a former Norman stronghold. The castle is only open to visitors about 4 Sundays a year but you can see it from your walk in the small park, but the best bit is stopping on the way back at the Glynne Arms for a drink and a snack or lunch. The Glynne Arms is directly across the road from the park gates.
