Super cute historic plaza anchored by a photo-worthy church and ringed by cute shops and restaurants. Sunday crafts market is especially cute.

FYI there is a free local river hangout spot right across from the entrance to the Bosque park. And just on the other side of the bridge is a road that goes down to a parking area to access the multi use paved path that runs north all the way to Picacho.

Food scene

Our favorite local restaurant right now. Great to sit on the patio with a view of the Organ mountains, or poolside for dining. Excellent chef and management, so service is usually really good.

Great local Thai restaurant. Keep in mind that here "Thai Hot" is actually Thai Hot. NM residents love our hot and spicy food, so the restaurants don't hold back. The Tiger Tears and Drunken Noodles are our favorites.

The local side of the famous Andele's. Nice outdoor patio area with heaters when it gets cool. Very local vibe but the same famous dishes and delicious salsa selection.

Lovely wine bistro with delicious food and excellent red wines (the Cabernet and Shiraz varietals are always especially good in NM).
