This is an great place to either learn how to cross country ski or get a workout in if you already know how. You can rent skis at the facility and explore miles of terrain.

Outdoor Recreation
Hyalite Canyon is absolutely stunning. There are great places to hike, snowshoe, cross country ski and backcountry ski all throughout. The reservoir is a beautiful spot for a picnic, paddle boarding, kayaking or in the winter ice fishing.

Yellowstone National Park is located an hour and half from my house if you go to the Gardiner entrance. Yellowstone is incredible and full of outdoor recreation opportunities. Yellowstone hot springs are also located in Gardiner and nearby Livingston is a great spot to stop and explore.

Relaxing
The Bozeman Hot Springs is a perfect spot to soak after a long day of skiing. There are multiple pools, sauna and steam room along with a gym. They also have live music on Thursdays.

If you're looking for a more rustic scene than the Bozeman Hot Springs, then Norris will be perfect. This hot spring is less built up but still offers a lot of amenities including food and beverages. They often have live music as well.
