Bude canal is a wonderful place to go for a walk and offers many activities also. Down on the wharf there are some lovely independent shops and cafes which are all worth a visit.
You can hire rowing boats and pedalo’s. Some of the local surf schools also offer stand up paddle boarding.

Summerleaze beach is a really beautiful little bay. It is ideal for young children wanting to bodyboard or paddle and is a great beach for anyone wanting to surf. It has surf schools located in the car park and also has beach huts available for day hire.
