Great place to have brunch/lunch when you went out the night before! Its a popular joint, but when the weather is nice and the food is satisfying you tend not to mind the wait.

Voted best new restaurant in the country! It's a little further up town but if you are already planning to explore that part of the city then it's a perfect place for lunch and dinner if your a foodie. Service is excellent and the food is amazing.

Great place to eat if you are vegan/vegetarian ... or even if you are neither of those things! the food is amazing and the outdoor patio has such a New Orleans romance aesthetic (The longer you visit the more you find out what I mean).

Such a great drunk snack! Chill in the back patio at Hi-Ho Lounge for this or if the bar is too packed they have a order window on the side of the bar.

So call ahead to make sure they have them, but if its crawfish season this would be the place to go for sure! If it's not crawfish season or they don't have them they DO have amazing poboys and oysters. Otherwise it's a complete 100 year old dive bar. I go for the crawfish. Also call ahead to make sure the kitchen isn't closed!

A local favorite. Have a frozen spiked coffee drink - its what they're known for! The bartenders are real and not overly superficial with their service. Be sure to check out the back part as well, could be some local music / dance sessions going on!
