The Lost Gardens of Heligan have definitely now been found! With over 200 acres of superb Victorian gardens together with walled gardens, summerhouses, lawns, lakes and ponds, productive gardens and fruithouses, and a 22-acre subtropical jungle it's an explorer's delight.

Unless you like the buzz, avoid the town itself and find a tremendous range of surfing beaches stretching either side from Holywell Bay to Bedruthan Steps. Nothing is more exhilarating than getting in the surf!

A great little cafe in Gorran Haven with fabulous sea views from the outdoor seating. It's community run with delicious homemade cakes - worth the 7 mile drive and you can walk it all off along the coast path!
