Lunch or Dinner on the patio- go early as this place gets busy for dinner- get the lobster dip- plenty to share with 3-4 people easily. * Update- not sure what is going on here at Cooks- two meals we have had lately have been a "miss" -But I still swear by the lobster dip and cold drinks on the patio with views that are amazing! ** another update- **due to work staff issues and getting food supplies Cooks Lobster and Ale House has closed for a couple of weeks and will open Labor Day weekend to a much smaller menu. So Please check website or Facebook page on open times.

Great spot where you can see on a clear day all the way to Portland. Come get the best fish chowder I have found- the best part it the chowder comes with a homemade hot blueberry muffin.

Harpswell on the map looks like a letter H - you have one side that is Harpswell Neck ( also know at Rt 123 ) where you will find many easy hiking trails. Parking is limited so go early. You will most likely find the ocean at the end of the walk. Most are easy to medium. Then you will cross ( mountain rd ) to Harpswell Islands Rd- where you will Great Island, Orrs Island and Bailey Island. No ferry needed you can access these by bridges. But don't forget Cundys Harbor-a great fishing village with great views.

Many come for the great outlet shopping- located just 25 minutes south from cooks corner. You will find LL Bean and many other great shops. Free parking in the parking garage. If your looking to have lunch, you can find that here as well.

Great hiking trials - where you Maybe see an eagle or perhaps a deer. But most trails will take you to a quiet area of the Ocean or cove. Bring your lunch- but please carry out your trash- please keep our trails clean.
