Great locations for whitewater rafting and kayaking, gold panning, and also the historic sites. Sutter's mill, Mormon cabin, and the little downtown area in Coloma.

our favorite wine is the rocky draw zinfandel. El Dorado county has many great wineries, and beautiful views. This one is a couple miles off Hwy 50, so I think too many people miss out.

This location has several tasting rooms for local wineries in one location. Convenient if you want to taste many different wines, and not waste much time driving from one to the next.

River access to American river. I go there to play on my kayak when I don't want to head to coloma. Good beginner spot. I also see fishermen there sometimes, and a great swimming location.
