Sightseeing
Try to go outside rush hour because it can get busy on the A40. Parking is very difficult but there are several park and rides. You can visit the colleges and see the Asthall Hoard in the Ashmolean.

A lovely small town surrounded by Roman remains. The amphitheatre is largely earthworks rather than actual remains but is a lovely place to visit. Also Roman wall and museum. https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/cirencester-amphitheatre/
