Sightseeing
It's a must visit once historical place. The fort is in the sea, accessible by boat. There is a vantage point at the center of the fort inside from where once can see the entire fort as well as for miles around. It's breath-taking. Old canons positioned near the outer walls of the fort are a great photo op. Highly recommend visiting this once. It's about a 45 minutes drive from the bungalow.

Accessible from the beach, the Revdanda Fort is along the beach. Not well maintained, so I haven't tried entering it myself, but it is a historic monument, and visible from the beach. Quite a spectacular sight and highly recommend you visit once. It's roughly a 20 minutes drive from the villa.

Fort de Revdanda
Accessible from the beach, the Revdanda Fort is along the beach. Not well maintained, so I haven't tried entering it myself, but it is a historic monument, and visible from the beach. Quite a spectacular sight and highly recommend you visit once. It's roughly a 20 minutes drive from the villa.
Less crowd, and a nice beach to spend time on, the sunset is breathtaking. Just 15 minutes drive from the Villa, and highly recommended.

Beautiful Beach with water sports. Feels like a mini Goa with some basic shacks selling coconut water and some snacks. Quite crowded on weekends, but a great place to visit. Roughly a 30 minutes drive from the villa.

Food scene
Patel Wadi, quite a famous spot, and most of the locals know it. The fish thali is outstanding and highly recommended. There are also lots more restaurants in the area, and most of them serve an authentic local thali. A must try once food experience.

Neighbourhoods
Small town with shops. There are supermarkets selling all necessary grocery and toiletry items. I also managed to get aluminum foil for some baking. There are shops that sell ice cubes, and a wonderful bakery selling fresh pao and biscuits. Fresh Chicken and Mutton is also available here.
