I honestly don't get the deal, but this place is stupid popular so if you're a Pizza Snob you probably need to visit while you're in town.

Goode Company is a family of restaurants (including seafood, bbq, hamburgers) that is just all good. If you're up in this area, just follow the locals for some great food.

This is some pretty great Thai food. Three peppers was too many peppers though, the spice is hot.

This is the best Tex-Mex I've found in the state (so far). I'll keep looking but in the meantime, if you're in the area pick me up some Tacos de Fajita.

Closest high quality movie theater. Premier Nasa dollar cinema is right near here as well for some very cheap movies.

Bowling, Games, all kinds of fun. If you were planning on the beach but the weather didn't cooperate, this is a great place to salvage a day. Fully air-conditioned fun.

Our zoo is pretty great. I don't personally go in the summer, but it's awesome November thru mid May.

I like this better than the natural science museums in D.C. and London. It is definitely in the running for best Natural Science Museum in the world.

Sightseeing
I'm not one to recommend going to a mall, but this one is sort of neat. One of the few underground structures in Houston, it's also one of the few places to ice skate in the state.
