In the summer on Thursday evenings, there is free live music. Keep in mind, it closes at 5pm except on Thursdays in the summer.

If you love history, you will love touring the beautiful home and garden of Thomas Jefferson. A must see when you're in Charlottesville. Tickets are cheaper on the website than in person. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

One block away is McGuffey Park. Park at the Water Street parking garage. The first hour is free and every hour after that is $2.50.
