Parks & Nature
Beautiful bit park on the Potomac River. There is a place to see Great Falls from the Virginia side (paid) and from the Maryland side (free). Both are beautiful.

This park runs many miles through DC. Much of the parkway that runs through it is closed to cars on Sunday so that people can walk, bike, roller blade, etc. This pin shows one of the closest parking lots to our house - corner of the Parkway and Beach drive - there are two lots very near there.
