Block off several hours and take a scenic drive to Ski Valley & Summerhaven. Over 9,000 feet in elevation. Only 27 miles from the base to the top. It's about a 30-45 minute drive from the house to the base. You'll go from desert to pine forests in a short time. There are many campgrounds, hiking trails & vistas to explore. There is a restaurant at Ski Valley & one in Summerhaven.
