Must do if your up for a bush walk with stunning coastal views over to a pristine bay starting from Waihi beach main end. (45mins)
The beach does drop off here so not ideal for swimming for younger children.
If your feeling fit you can continue on to the next bay Homunga which then links up to Ngatitangata Rd. Research before you go. (4hrs)
Alternatively you can park at Ngatitangata Rd and hike to Homunga and back. Another stunning secluded bay with a steep walk back up to the car.

At the front of the cafe is a bike hire and locally owned health and beauty/gift shop Ahu Aromas. Selling all sorts of beach goodies and botanical skincare & aromatherapy. Hidden gem!
