On the top floor of the building, El Five is a delicious tapas bar that features floor-to-ceiling glass windows with one of my favorite views of the entire Denver Skyline! It's a little upscale, but totally worth it for the experience and the tapas are incredible!

One of the tastiest healthy options nearby. Just BE has some incredible Paleo-, Vegetarian-, and Vegan-friendly options and it's scrumptious! Great bulletproof coffee and farm fresh greens!

Avanti is like a food court for food trucks. They're always changing the food trucks, so there's always a little something for everyone there! Also has a great rooftop view of the city!

This bar has some of the most intriguing eclectic decor I've ever experienced. Sort of like walking into a log cabin full of oddities and curiosities. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with water features, fire pits, a treehouse, and a tipi. Great for a unique experience and a tasty cocktail.

This bar is usually quiet, but the decor inside is sort of Tim Burton themed and the cocktails are incredible! I'd recommend the Severed Goat Head cocktail! Also there's a pizzeria attached to the bar with yummy slices.

Getting Around
Union Station is Denver's largest and oldest mass transit station. It is located right in the center of lower downtown. From here you can take the light rail to the airport or a bus to anywhere in Denver or the surrounding cities like Boulder. There are also quite a few tasty dining options on site! This incredible historical landmark and transportation hub is only a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment!

Parks & Nature
This is my favorite park in Denver. There's a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) loop that's great for jogging. The trees are beautiful and there's a huge open space great for frisbee and picnics. This park also features the Cheesman Monument, with fountains and greek inspired architecture. Plus, the park is right up against the Denver Botanical Gardens!
