There's usually a line around the block for this super fun, super popular Athens fixture, and you can't make a reservation. At busy times, we like to swing by there an hour or two before we want to eat and get our names on the list. They'll call you when your table's ready, and you can walk on over from Trappeze, the rooftop at the Georgia Theater or whichever great place you're enjoying a drink - and sit down to a fun dinner with great service. Get the house made gorgonzola dressing on your salad, and don't leave with out a slice of white chocolate cheesecake. You're welcome!

The third law is that you must order a slice of vegan death cake for dessert. A little known tip is that the Grit has the best cup of hot tea in Athens - take it from an Irish girl. Enjoy one with your slice of cake and the diverse artwork at the Grit!

They say there's no wrong way to Maepole, and they're right. Healthy, hearty and cooked-from-scratch lunches and dinners, served fast-food style with no wait! Start with a base of quinoa, greens or sweet potatoes, and add veggies, a yummy charred protein and the house-made dressings. Finish with a Condor chocolate bar, and compost/recycle everything you use. Awesome food and a great business neighbor. Maepole is the best.
