A great walk is from Nantmor and onto Beddgelert along the Glaslyn river or over the mountain. This is a beautiful village with a variety of pubs and cafes. There is an interesting gift shop selling many wooden items. It also has the top award winning ice cream shop: https://www.glaslynices.co.uk/

Our local pub, Brondanw Arms. It is known locally as The Ring as there is an old iron ring where boats were moored. The sea used to come up to the pub before Mr Madoc built the Cob in Porthmadog. There is often live music and it has a great garden from which to enjoy the spectacular views.
Y Garreg Shop has a variety of local and ethical products and serves food all day (except Sundays) from 8am breakfast. The pizzas look amazing.

Based at the bottom of the Watkin Path this is a lovely Caffi in an old Chapel. Caffi Gwynant is open from 9am - 4pm Thursday to Sunday. Combine a visit with a walk up Snowdon or hire a kayak at Lake Gwynant.

Great for a swim. Cold but so wonderful to float in the middle and see blue sky, mountains and buzzards.

Fantastic long beach where you can park on the sand. You can walk for miles in either direction to Borth y Gest and on to Porthmadog to the east or to Criccieth to the West. If you head towards Criccieth check out the amazing caves at the end of the beach. The tide does come in quickly so don't park too low down!
