My husband and I are self-proclaimed coffee snobs. His coffee sensibility is more of a European Lavazza lover vibe whereas I prefer more of the Portland/Pacific NW coffee culture. We both agree that this is one of the best coffee around in SoCal, or anywhere else really. Support the local community and check this place out!

Arts & Culture
Slab City is a conglomerate of transients and artists alike, and everything else in between. Located about 2 hours SE of Joshua Tree. Worth the drive for a unique opportunity to experience some subversive art and interact with a raw and emerging counter-culture.
P.S. Not recommended for the germaphobe type.
