El Jefe is a great place to grab tacos and margaritas while you watch people ski, snowboard, or mountain bike down the front face of the mountain. A pretty extensive menu and awesome for kids, they have extensive hours and it is a 5 minute walk from the condo. Seasonal live music on Tuesday afternoons.

The best pizza in Angel Fire, not open every night. Due to seasonality, look at when they are open. It is easiest to order takeout here, but they have a dining room with 15ish tables. The wings are underwhelming but the pizza is solid.

Easy go-to for fishing and kayaking. Day rates to fish or take out a boat but a beautiful setting and well stocked trout lake. The trail around it is an easy hike or great place to run laps. Catch trout using worms or powerbait from the shore, and you have to keep what you catch, which is delicious. There are benches and picnic tables scattered around the 1 mile perimeter of the lake, but bringing a chair for fishing is ideal.
