Old Silver Beach is on the western shores of Falmouth and offers a spectacular view of Buzzards Bay. The warm water, soft sand, and small waves make it perfect for families with young children. There is a seasonal food stand, but parking is limited, so you might want to aim for an early arrival!

If quiet beaches are more your scene, then be sure to visit Menauhant Beach, which is long and narrow and overlooks Vineyard Sound. There is lots of room here, as it’s barely ever crowded.

Another quiet beach is Wood Neck Beach. There is plenty of room to park at this Sippewissett area beach. Tide pools full of crabs and hermit crabs and warm water to play in await you here.
