Eastbound (returning to Kew Gardens from Manhattan)
If you are taking the LIRR at Penn Station to return to Kew Gardens, please remember only the first FOUR CARS of the train will open the door to exit at Kew Gardens station.
When boarding the platform/track, look at the platform to see the sign that says “Front of train” with an arrow pointing to which direction is the “front” of the train (or ask a conductor on the train, they will usually peek out to check for boarding customers).
