The house is located less than 2 miles from Siesta Key. Siesta Key is a beautiful barrier island eight miles long just offshore of Sarasota. Its powdery soft, white, cool sand sets it apart from other beaches. Siesta Beach is not only long, but also expansively wide, especially around the Siesta Key Beach Pavilion section. The beach is so wide the city installed walking mats to help beachgoers get to the shore, where they can then walk on firmer wet sand. We love the easy drive, just 1.8 miles, to Public Beach Access 12 (Crescent Beach), located at 6490 Midnight Pass Rd, Sarasota, FL 34242. But If you want to enjoy the best beach and sands we are just 3.6 miles from Beach Access 11 (Siesta Key Beach), located at 690 Beach Rd, Siesta Key, FL 34242.
