Conseils aux voyageurs
Que faut-il apporter ?
Make sure to pack rain gear!
The likelihood that it will rain during your stay in Bergen is big (67%)! On average, it rains 239 days a year. If you want to look like and live like the locals do during your stay, then you have to bring a rainproof jacket and pants. Umbrellas are less practical because rain is often accompanied by wind, so actually few locals walk around with umbrellas. And remember, for Norwegians, there is no bad weather, just bad clothes!
Se déplacer dans les environs
Public transport is good in Bergen!
Bybanen (light rail) connects the south of Bergen with city centre and is also the cheapest and most convenient way of transport from/to the Flesland airport. To reach other parts of Bergen (north, west) you will need to rely on public bus system which has varying level of service, depending on the region.
You can purchase bybanen tickets either at each stop, by using the ticket machine, or by using the Skyss ticket app.
