My second fave fabric store in the city and mostly because they offer some great classes in the evenings and on weekends - sewing garments, home decor, quilts; knitting and more. Great selection of yarn and quilting cottons. Parking is super limited. They are open 7 days a week. :)

My fave LYS (local yarn store) in town. They have a huge beautiful selection as well as a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They are open 7 days a week.

This is the closest park to our house. It's quaint and fairly quiet and just at the southern end of the main shopping/eating area of 12th Avenue. We love to grab a bite at Taqueria del Sol then hit Las Paletas to take tasty popsicles to the park.
